2020 Ngondro Retreat

2020 Ngondro Retreat: June 19th – 26th

Buddha Shakyamuni at Gomde Cooperstown ready for Ngondro retreat

In Tibetan Buddhism the Vajrayana path begins with the preliminary practices of the Four One Hundred Thousands or Ngondro. To successfully complete these preliminaries, the student must complete 100,000 prostrations, 100,000 Refuge and Bodichitta recitations, 100,000 mandala offerings and 100,000 guru yoga.

In this Ngondro retreat, students will be able to focus on these practices from the Dispeller of All Obstacles (Tukdrub Barché Künsel), the main guru cycle of the New Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa (Chokling Tersar) lineage.

Those who have empowerments from other lineages are welcomed to join.
